Closing Date for Application: Thursday 27/11/2025 ADEY, the market leader in the provision of residential water treatment products for closed loop heating and cooling systems in the UK, is looking for a Production Operator to join the team. Now part of the Genuit Groups’ Climate Management Solutions (CMS) business unit, ADEY has ambitious growth plans. The Role As Production Operator, you are responsible for the assembly of the filters, Sure-stop, Sub-assemblies or Chemical area at the core of the role, production operators, coordinate and assemble various filters on a hourly / daily basis so that products are provided safely, while meeting or exceeding the hourly production target, to the required quality standard. Works in close partnership with the Line leader and other production ops to ensure timely production of products. A large part of the role is working in making Filters, Sure-stop or in the Chems area making finished goods for our customers. Working hours: On a Rota Shift: Week 1: Monday – Thursday 5:30am – 1:45pm Friday 5:30am – 12:30pm Week 2: Monday – Thursday 2pm – 11pm Friday 1pm – 5pm Working style: On site Responsibilities As a production Operator, you work in any filter cell usually in a max of 4 people to maximise productivity. You will need to: Work in the Production Line to complete the assembly of any filter job planned in any given cell. Communicate with other colleagues or line lead if any issues arise. Understand how all equipment and test machines work; promptly report defective equipment or parts and systems to avoid downtime to line lead or Shift supervisor. Ensure you are at your workstation at shift start and leave at the shift end at the correct time. Take allocated break times when required. Record production numbers, serial numbers if applicable on an hourly basis if required. Ensure Production Line is cleaned down thoroughly 10min at the end of the shift and at the end of each order if moving to another Line. To work in any of the production cells, Filter, Sure-stop or Sub assembly or Chemical areas if required. To be able to do the blending and mixing in the Chemical area. To achieve the set targets required in the given production areas. Be required to train and operate in 3 operations out of 4 in the Filter cells. To load or unload cells / line as instructed by Line lead. Quality: Be aware of any Quality Alerts. Report all defects to line lead in order that inventory and quality records are maintained and accurate. Be accountable for the quality of the product produced and follow quality procedures rigorously. Suggest ways to improve product quality via ECR’s, or Continuous Improvement suggestions Health & Safety: Ensure the prompt reporting of any accidents and near misses to Line lead or Supervisor in line with ADEY policy. Wear any specified PPE, Hi-Vis, safety shoes or safety glasses when applicable in the production areas. Adherence to objectives and H&S policy where required. Ensure that health and safety guidelines are always followed; immediately address safety concerns. The Person Experience: Experience in a production / assembly factory desired but not essential. Knowledge and Qualifications: Planning and organization skills to be able run and monitor the production line. Skills and competencies: Attention to detail to ensure high levels of quality. The ability to communicate clearly and with your Line lead / Supervisor. The ability to work under pressure and multitask. The ability to work in a logical, systematic manner. Personal Qualities: The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
