New graduates may apply that are registered or registry eligible. New graduates that are registry eligible must be registered by either ARDMS or ARRT (Sonography) within 12 months of their hire date. Maintain current AHA CPR certification through Cape Fear Valley Training and Development department. Demonstrates technical skills and expertise in performing diagnostic and vascular sonography. Demonstrates positive interpersonal skills. Verbal and written skills required. Demonstrates compassionate patient care. Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development and understands the range of treatment needed for all age groups. Provides care based on the patient’s developmental needs. Experienced in the delivery of effective patient care and interacts effectively with patients of all ages.Must be able to communicate orally. Must have dexterity and visual acuity. Must have mobility to assume awkward positions. Must have mobility to respond to emergency situations. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to bend and lift.
