Job Description: Systems and Oncology Data Manager Cromwell Hospital, London SW5 0TU Permanent, Full time Salary £39,000 + Fantastic Benefits We make health happen As a Systems and Oncology Data Manager at Cromwell Hospital, you’ll play a critical role in shaping and managing our Oncology Management System (OMS) to ensure seamless data flow, accurate reporting, and improved patient pathways. You’ll work closely with clinical teams, IT specialists, and external partners to deliver robust systems and data solutions that support world-class oncology care. How you’ll help us make health happen Lead OMS Strategy & Development: Design, implement, and maintain the Oncology Management System in alignment with hospital strategy. Drive System Enhancements: Manage upgrades, new functionalities, and risk assessments, chairing project meetings for system developments. Ensure Operational Excellence: Oversee daily OMS service delivery, troubleshoot issues, and liaise with third-party suppliers to maintain performance. Support Clinical Teams: Facilitate oncology MDT meetings, develop robust data collection processes, and ensure accurate cancer referral tracking. Data Management & Reporting: Build workflows, analyse complex datasets, and produce reports for audits, KPIs, and clinical outcomes. Governance & Compliance: Maintain high standards of data governance, ensuring compliance with CQC, GDPR, and hospital policies. Training & Leadership: Lead OMS Key Users, deliver training programmes, and support staff competency development. Key Skills / Qualifications Essential: Degree-level qualification. Extensive experience in IT systems management. Experience in healthcare environments. Strong knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems and Citrix environments. Proven ability to manage databases, deliver technical reports, and lead system changes. Desirable: Knowledge of Oncology Information Systems.
