Solution Optimisation Consultant

MRI Software
Full-time
On-site
London

Role Overview This position is responsible for providing services to existing clients of MRI’s Horizon and ProLease Enterprise property management solutions throughout EMEA as part of our Optimisation Team (sometimes referred to as business-as usual or BAU). There are three main strands of responsibility that this role requires. Each is approximately one third of: 1 - Looking for client opportunities, talking to clients about how MRI can help them, and ensuring work is scoped, estimated for, and contracted correctly 2 - Project managing contracted work, notably where those pieces of work are more complicated and require fuller Project Management (smaller pieces of work are delivered by different team members) 3 - Acting as the actual client-facing consultant within the delivery of the contracted work where it is appropriate for the candidate’s skillset and experience The Optimisation Team does not implement new Horizon and ProLease Enterprise from scratch. It occupies the vital piece of the client lifecycle where the client is already live and requires additional services from MRI. These services range vastly in size, from a few hours of training or a datafix, to the implementation of whole new modules, data take-on, user training programmes and many other areas. The successful candidate must be capable of leading and participating in working sessions with client’s personnel to facilitate technology-based solutions to business problems. This person must be a team player as there are many key stakeholders across the business that work together towards successful deliveries. We understand the need to provide a flexible working environment partnered with team collaboration and socialisation. Therefore, we operate a hybrid working model with 3 days of working from home per week. This role is based in the London office. Responsibilities Work with clients to gather their requirements and define these correctly and accurately in short statements of work, communicating via MRI’s Salesforce system and also directly with clients (or both) as appropriate Conduct gap analysis, document client requirements, and translate into Horizon/PLE solution design. Advise clients on industry best practices regarding property and lease management. Don’t be afraid to provide alternative solutions that work better for clients than the ones they might have originally thought about. Assist clients in software configuration, testing, training, and deployment. Manage client escalations from time to time that are related to the delivery of work in hand. Work closely and co-operatively with other team members such as the Horizon+PLE Business Development function, Team Leaders, the Project Managers, all the consultants, and the Practice Leader. Never afraid to pick up the phone to speak to a client, or email, to gain greater clarification or seek additional work for MRI and to the client’s benefit. Look for additional opportunities to expand upon client work at the point of scoping or revisit this at a later date where appropriate. Requirement Familiar with real estate management business processes in at least one of the investor, occupier and residential spaces (two out of three is beneficial; all three is a strong advantage).
