As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for leading and executing our food safety and regulatory strategy alongside our health and safety (H&S) strategies within the UK business. We’ll look to you to protect the brand from food safety, H&S, product safety and regulatory risks whilst supporting and delivering the health and wellness strategy by forecasting the emerging food and nutrition issues within the UK. We’ll look to you to bring your qualifications within food safety or health and safety with in-role experience of leading food safety and H&S teams. You’ll have the ability to balance the needs of the business against legal requirements with proven experience to interpret and apply recommendations to the UK/EU regulatory and legislative rules. To be successful for this role you’ll have in-house experience in a retail or hospitality environment. The best part about this role is that no two days are ever the same! Working as our senior safety and compliance manager, you’ll get involved in: Effectively leading a team of experienced subject matter experts within each specific area of the function to design and define the food safety and compliance alongside the H&S strategy within the UK market.
