Main Responsibilities of the role Act as the Networks Senior Authorised Person and Assessing Officer. Manage all operational network activities up to 132kV. Managing all network access and authorisations. Lead in the development of the businesses Distribution Safety Rules and standard operating procedures / codes of practice. Deliver the businesses asset management and inspection regime on time and on budget. Complete quality assurance checks of works completed and rectify any quality issues identified. Ensure safety management throughout all responsibilities. Responsibility for delivery of all construction, maintenance and fault works to time, cost and quality. Support and provide operational support to field staff. Produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements for the safe delivery of projects work. Liaise with and manage relationships with our customers to meet their expectations wherever possible. Complete out of hours safety/emergency response (Standby). What we need from you Senior Authorised Person (SAP) as defined by the Distribution Safety Rules – Preferably up to 132kV, with understanding of network design and operation from 400V to 132kV. Project and contract Management Experience. Educated to a minimum HNC level qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with operational knowledge of electrical distribution equipment. Full clean UK driving licence. Excellent communication skills, able to engage effectively at all levels and work well within a team. Experience of using Microsoft Office suite, Outlook, MS Project and other bespoke software packages.
