Position: Project Manager for SWAT Location: UK, London Competitive Salary & Excellent Company Benefits Overview We are looking for a project manager to lead and deliver several companywide projects. A key initiative they will lead is the SWAT project, which aims to simplify and automate key business processes across AZUK. The project manager will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and closing the project, as well as managing the project team, stakeholders, risks, and dependencies. The project manager will also ensure that the project deliverables are aligned with the strategic objectives, compliance requirements, and quality standards of AZUK. The project manager will be leading multiple initiatives in parallel and be responsible for creating, managing and maintain an integrated delivery plan. The SWAT initiatives that project manager will focus on in 2026 are: Development of the UKs AI Digital Twin model Simplifying sales forecasting capabilities Automating PO and vendor management solutions Development of a process automation backlog Responsibilities Define and scope the project objectives, deliverables, milestones, and KPIs for multiple initiatives. Develop and maintain a detailed project plan and schedule and track the progress and performance of the project against the agreed baselines. Delivery of key deliverables within plan to time, quality and costs. Manage the project budget and resources, and ensure that the project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Lead and coordinate the project team, which consists of a business analyst, a solution developer, and subject matter experts from various functions. Communicate and report the project status, issues, risks, and achievements to the project sponsor, steering committee, and other relevant stakeholders. Facilitate the stakeholder interviews, data gathering, process mapping, analysis, and design activities, and ensure that the project outputs are validated and approved by the process owners and users. Oversee the implementation of the to-be processes, including the change management and communication plan, and ensure that the project benefits are realized and sustained. Conduct the project closure and evaluation, and document the lessons learned and best practices for future projects. Essential Requirements Strong proven experience in project management, preferably in process improvement, technology transformation and automation projects. Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, such as PMBOK, Agile, ADKAR, or Lean Six Sigma. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse and cross-functional teams. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and the ability to handle complex and ambiguous situations. Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Experience of working in technology projects and a good understanding of technology project principles. Tech-savvy, with experience in process mapping software, CRM platforms, automation software, and Microsoft Office applications.
