We are seeking a Player Transition Coach to provide individually tailored, specialist support and mentorship to players and staff in our PDP programme, with a focus on helping players to transition into first-team football. What will you be doing? You will ensure all identified Under 21s players have the relevant specialist support in relation to personal and individual development needs as well as and support the Head of Group Talent Management with loan players through regular communication, live game attendance, training ground visits and identifying additional development requirements. You will work with the Under 18-21 players throughout their journey, assisting in the onboarding process for new talent, attending games and supporting the on and off-field delivery of individual sessions with players and the relevant interdisciplinary staff. Providing 1:1 mentorship with identified players will be a key part of this role and will include attending regular meetings to review current development provision and supporting the Player Review process as well as contributing to player pathway meetings and audit processes. Working closely with the first team staff you will ensure clear and consistent communication regarding PDP players’ schedule and planning. Is this you? You are keen to learn and eager to develop your own skills with the ability to demonstrate a strong level of game knowledge and understanding. You have strong interpersonal skills and an understanding of how to remain professional but approachable. Essential Skills and Experience UEFA A Licence Minimum of 10 years experience within Academy or First Team football.
