Job Overview:

The Operational Supervisor will lead a small team of Anchor Associates while also providing direct support to Anchor customers. This role blends leadership and hands-on service delivery—ensuring high standards of care, smooth daily operations, and excellent customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Supervision
    • Lead, mentor, and support a small team of Anchor Associates.
    • Oversee scheduling, performance, and training.
    • Foster a positive, client-centered work culture.
  • Customer Support & Advocacy
    • Provide direct advocacy and independent living support to Anchor customers.
    • Maintain professional, trusting relationships with clients and their families.
  • Operational Management
    • Support smooth day-to-day operations of Anchor services.
    • Ensure compliance with organizational standards and policies.
    • Monitor service quality, customer satisfaction, and team performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid driver’s license and reliable motorized vehicle.

Required Skills and Abilities:

 Background in social services, healthcare, advocacy, or related field preferred.

 Strong organizational and communication skills.

 Ability to balance leadership with hands-on customer service.

 Compassion, patience, and a commitment to promoting independent living.

 Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the candidate would regularly require to talk and hear.  The candidate frequently would be required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.   The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb, or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supervising or mentoring a small team in a service, healthcare, or community setting.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Knowledge of aging services, disability support systems, or care coordination.
  • Skilled in scheduling, prioritization, and time management.
