About the Role Working for The Wolters Kluwer Digital eXperience Group (DXG), you will help design and deliver exceptional digital experiences that support professionals across the globe. As a Midweight Product Designer, you’ll apply your UX and visual design expertise to create thoughtful, data-driven, and user-centered solutions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product managers, developers, and stakeholders—to bring clarity and creativity to complex problems. Through detailed wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user research, you’ll contribute to the continuous evolution of Wolters Kluwer’s digital ecosystem and design standards. Key Responsibilities Design and refine wireframes, user flows, and storyboards to communicate design intent and user journeys. Plan and conduct user research sessions, synthesizing insights into clear, actionable recommendations. Develop interactive prototypes that effectively demonstrate user interactions and design concepts. Participate in usability testing, analyze feedback, and apply findings to enhance design outcomes. Contribute to the DXG design system, ensuring design consistency, scalability, and accessibility. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align design solutions with user and business goals. Present design concepts and research findings to teams and stakeholders with clarity and confidence. Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback, analytics, and testing insights. Stay informed about UX and product design trends, sharing best practices and innovative ideas with the team. Provide guidance and support to junior designers where appropriate, fostering collaboration and growth. Skills & Experience Wireframing & Prototyping: Strong ability to create detailed wireframes, prototypes, and user flows using tools such as Figma or Sketch. User Research & Testing: Experience conducting research and usability testing, and turning insights into meaningful design improvements. Design Systems: Knowledge of maintaining and applying design systems and style guides within complex environments. UX/UI Design: Proven experience designing intuitive, accessible, and visually consistent digital products. Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills across cross-functional teams. Presentation: Ability to clearly articulate and defend design decisions to varied audiences. Iteration: A proactive approach to refining designs based on testing, data, and feedback.
