Why This Role Matters As Marketing Specialist - Retail, you play a key role in shaping how customers experience our brand across digital and eCommerce channels. Your work directly supports franchisees, helping them grow sales, strengthen customer relationships, and succeed in an increasingly digital marketplace. This role sits at the heart of our retail business, blending creativity with insight to deliver meaningful, measurable impact across the automotive retail network. Working closely with internal teams and franchise partners, you help bring our digital vision to life - ensuring our marketing activity is relevant, engaging, and consistently delivers value for both customers and dealers. What You’ll Do In this role, you will lead and support a wide range of digital and retail marketing initiatives, including: Implementing annual eCommerce and digital marketing roadmaps across retail channels Monitoring and optimising performance across tyre and SMR (Service, Mechanical, Repair) eCommerce categories Developing and delivering B2C campaigns that drive sales and improve dealer profitability Leading media and social media strategy and execution for the retail business Supporting digital transformation by helping franchisees adopt and benefit from new tools and platforms Creating and deploying targeted digital campaigns and engaging content for tyre and auto service promotions Managing franchisee digital presence, including Google My Business, local SEO, and online reviews Analysing campaign performance, tracking ROI, and translating insights into clear recommendations Collaborating with category management to deliver effective sell-out campaigns Ensuring brand consistency across dealer co-op advertising and supporting local PR initiatives Organising and managing consumer-facing events to connect with target audiences. This is a hybrid role with regular travel (approximately three days per week) to our Birmingham Head Office. What You’ll Bring A customer-first mindset with a strong focus on delivering meaningful, measurable impact 3–4 years’ experience in customer-focused marketing, with hands-on digital and eCommerce expertise Strong capability across digital marketing, including SEO, media campaigns, and social platforms A data-informed, strategic approach with the ability to turn insights into action Confidence collaborating across teams and influencing stakeholders to achieve shared goals A relevant degree in marketing or a commercial discipline (Master’s preferred) Fluent English, strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel), and a valid driving licence.
