The Role We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our investment team, playing a hands-on role in implementing, maintaining, and supporting our Model Portfolio Service across a range of investment platforms. You’ll be comfortable taking ownership early on and working at pace in a growing, technology-driven environment. The role is fast-paced and varied. Role & Responsibilities Working within our Investment team, you will be responsible for: Day-to-day management and operation of discretionary model portfolios for financial advice firms Designing, improving, and maintaining processes for investment operations and associated tools Administering and monitoring client portfolios, including cash management, rebalancing, and ongoing oversight Responding to adviser queries and providing operational support throughout onboarding and across the ongoing client relationship Building and maintaining effective relationships with platform partners, working collaboratively for the benefit of mutual clients Maintaining a strong working knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements and applying these consistently in day-to-day activities Supporting the migration of new client assets in a high-growth, fast-paced environment Role Requirements Core knowledge & experience: Experience working in investment operations, platform operations, or a similar role within asset management, DFM, fintech, or a financial planning business A solid understanding of model portfolio services and how they are implemented and maintained on investment platforms Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment Confidence working with data, systems, and technology — you’re comfortable learning new tools and processes Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external providers A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to take ownership of tasks from start to finish Understanding of what financial advisers do and the challenges they face. Highly numerate. Ideal knowledge & experience: Work experience in a DFM or MPS business. Advanced Excel and VBA skills. Knowledge of coding.
