The Role: The Indexes Client Service & Implementation team seeks an enthusiastic, results-driven Indexes Implementation Manager to help advance our index products in Europe. In this role, you will interact extensively with clients and sales and lead index data implementation. You will become an expert in Morningstar’s index data offering and will work closely with sales, product management, technology and operations. Please note: Strong experience within financial services or financial markets is essential for this position, in addition to experience working with clients. Responsibilities Work cross-functionally with various Morningstar teams to manage all aspects of data delivery to clients Be the subject matter expert on all available data delivery channels, and be able to find the best fit solution for the client Be an escalation point for client issues during the implementation period, be able to troubleshoot and work with technology to resolve any issues Initiate ideas and projects to improve our client implementation experience and delivery solutions Manage relationships with, and data delivery to third party index data providers Create and maintain data product technical specifications as required Support business development and product management teams for client meeting preparation as required Participate in and contribute to global projects to advance the growth of the Indexes business Qualifications Bachelor’s degree At least 5 – 7 years of professional work experience, ideally in a client-facing role within the Index industry Proven experience in financial markets or financial services is a must Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing Enjoys problem solving and making improvements A pro-active and positive attitude Self-motivated and willing to take ownership of new responsibilities Strong interpersonal skills, and enjoys building relationships Team player who works well cross functionally and globally Technical skills and experience with SQL, Python, AWS, not required but nice to have Familiarity with data providers such as Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg, FactSet, not required but nice to have Interested in learning more about Indexes and investing Ready to Shape the Future?
