Job Details Job Location: Lincoln, CA 95648 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Job Shift: Any Job Category: Housekeeping Position Summary: The Housekeeping Supervisor will supervise the daily activities of Housekeeping Team Members to ensure maintenance and cleanliness of hotel rooms, corridors, landings, and equipment. This position will ensure that Team Members meet productivity expectations and perform their duties to AAA Four Diamond service standards established by the department. Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. Essential Functions: 1. Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s “ELITE” company-wide service mission and demonstrate AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times. 2. Oversee job performance to meet departmental standards. Ensure projects and daily assignments are completed accurately and in the most efficient manner. 3. Implement and enforce department rules on a daily basis. 4. Assign and monitor daily tasks and complete all necessary paperwork. 5. Assist with Team Member inspection reports. 6. Initiate, enforce and maintain the corrective counseling system. 7. Prioritize tasks and responsibilities according to staffing and facility needs. 8. Maintain a safe environment internally and externally. 9. Submit maintenance requests as necessary. 10. Monitor use and maintenance of all cleaning equipment, radios, and keys. 11. Responsible for maintaining the Hazard Communication Standard for your area. 12. Responsible for motivating, developing and directing Team Members. 13. Assist Housekeeping Management with developing and enhancing training and incentive programs. 14. Conduct interviews for Housekeeping personnel recruitment. 15. Assist with Team Member inspection reports. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: 1. Minimum of one (1) year of housekeeping experience required. 2. Two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred. 3. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form. 4. Computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience with OPERA and HOTSos preferred. 4. Must have the ability to multitask. 5. Must be at least 21 years of age. 6. Must be able to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License. Physical Requirements: 1. Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols. 2. Ability to lift 50 lbs. 3. Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment. 4. Ability to communicate by telephone, radio, text, and email. 5. Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift. 6. Ability to sit for prolonged periods.
