<\/p>Responsibilities:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Represent TMC in all areas pertaining to HSE in the workplace<\/span>
<\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Develop, regularly update, and manage <\/span>the overall corporate and jobsite specific HSE policies and procedures as well as all related guidelines, including hazard identification, use of personal protective equipment, accident prevention, accident\/incident investigation, etc.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Enforce HSE regulations that affect employee, subcontractor, vendor, and site visitor's safety. In cases of imminent danger, direct responsible supervisor(s) to take immediate, corrective actions and\/or cease operations or maintenance activities until the hazard has been corrected<\/span>
<\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Manage and supervise all HSE Department personnel<\/span>
<\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Develop and implement appropriate HSE training programs for accident prevention and to improve overall corporate safety<\/span>
<\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Establish and maintain HSE and training records<\/span>
<\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Perform regular<\/span> inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance with the overall corporate HSE program as well as other <\/span>environmental and occupational health and safety requirements<\/span>
<\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Attend various construction meetings (pre\-bid, pre\-award, pre\-construction, etc.) as necessary<\/span>
<\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Disseminate current applicable HSE information to assure that appropriate action is taken<\/span>
<\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Direct HSE data management activities and see to the issuance of timely, comparative reports with recommendations to senior management<\/span>
<\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Respond to and investigate all accidents\/incidents<\/span>
<\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Review accident\/incident reports for significant trends in construction accidents and reported safety hazards<\/span>
<\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ensure compliance with all Federal (e.g., OSHA), state and local safety rules and regulation, including specific reporting and record keeping requirements<\/span>
<\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Design and implement the Right\-to\-Know program and assure full compliance as mandated by law<\/span>
<\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Stay aware of and up to date with all applicable federal, state and local safety rules and regulations<\/span>
<\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Perform additional assignments as required by the needs of the Company, or as otherwise directed<\/span>
<\/p> <\/span>
<\/p>Qualifications:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Bachelorâs degree in safety engineering, safety management, occupational environment health, industrial health, or related field<\/span>
<\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification strongly preferred<\/span>
<\/p>
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills; Bi\-lingual (English\/Spanish) preferred but not required<\/span>
<\/li>
- Strong computer skills including MS Office<\/span>
<\/li>
