Job Posting Title Head of Marketing Communications and Digital Salary Band £85, 000 - £105, 000 Grade: BL (Business Leader) Job Description About the Role To support our growth ambition , we’re excited to introduce a brand new leadership role for our Newcastle and Manchester Building Society brands. We’re seeking a Head of Marketing Communications and Digital. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our brands, including the development of our Manchester Building Society brand across Greater Manchester. You’ll develop and build a customer centric marketing communications & digital strategy aligned to our strategic priorities, commercial objectives and target audiences, delivering growth through the delivery of our proposition, products, services and experience. This role is an integral part of the Brand & Marketing Leadership Team, so you can expect to shape thought leadership, strategic direction and build a high performing team, whilst working with critical senior stakeholders across the Society to deliver to our strategic ambition. This role will be based 1 day a week on site at Newcastle Office (Cobalt) with occasional travel to our Manchester Office (City Centre). About You We’re seeking a strategic marketing leader who can confidently influence and constructively challenge within a regulated environment. With a strong commitment to continuous improvement, commercial acumen and exceptional influencing skills, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving innovation and inspiring positive change across all levels of the Society through strategic plans and data driven insight. You’ll bring a proven track record of shaping and executing multi-proposition, multi-channel marketing communication strategies at a senior level. Your leadership will be instrumental in building and nurturing high-performing teams, empowering colleagues across all levels through guidance, support, and inspiration. To succeed in this role, you’ll have a strong background in Financial Services or experience operating within a regulated environment. About Us Newcastle Building Society is the North East’s largest Building Society whose purpose “Connecting our communities with a better financial future” inspires and directs our activities. We help people own their own home and plan and manage their finances and operate 31 branch network across the North East, Cumbria, Yorkshire. We’ve recently launched the Manchester Building Society in the North West and have ambitious plans to grow the brand. The Marketing Communication & Digital team plays a key part in helping to connect with customers in a meaningful way by creating communications and activities that promote our brand, our purpose and products to existing customers and new prospects. The team is responsible for end to end product marketing planning and delivery, digital channels, integrated campaigns, customer data and performance measurement.
