Job Posting Title Financial Crime Investigator Salary Band £24,252 - £30,247 Grade: LC3 Job Description About the Role This hybrid position allows you to split your working time between home and one of our offices, located in Manchester or Newcastle office Assisting the Financial Crime Unit in the detection and prevention of Money Laundering and Fraud for Newcastle Building Society Group by reviewing alerts in relation to NSSL’s customer onboarding process. You will be responsible for the day-to-day processing and management of referrals into FCU.. You will be able to document and display critical understanding of the key Financial Crime risks for each referral, conducting end to end fraud investigations, requesting extra verification where required. You will liaise with external financial crime contacts, along with internal colleagues daily. About You You are expected to be experienced of working within a Financial Crime environment, processing financial crime alerts and be able to demonstrate you can assess financial crime risk in a timely and effective manner, raising financial crime awareness and able to identify improvements within the Financial Crime Unit processes You will possess the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external members and able to produce accurate work, having exceptional attention to detail.
