On average 46% of new hires fail or quit in the first 18 months, in 2025 the average time it takes a business to make a hire has almost doubled to 8 weeks. On top of that, recruiting agencies will generate more than $950bn in fees this year. It’s a problem and industry that is ready for change. At Dex we believe that advances in conversational AI and Matchmaking now mean that we can replicate the kind of world class coaching and recruiting support that top executives, sportspeople and stars receive and share it with everyone. Our AI, Dex, is designed to be your personal career support Agent, working and talking with you to understand your key strengths, abilities and ambitions, and helping you to find, secure and perform in the career opportunity that is right for you. If you're excited about what we're building, we want to hear from you! What we offer Joining Dex means being part of a fast-moving, ambitious team building something meaningful. Harry and I started Dex with the belief that Talent is everywhere, but opportunity isn't. We believe in a future where Dex helps individuals understand and utilise their unique strengths, abilities and ambitions to build fulfilling careers regardless of where they come from. The only way that can be achieved is to build a product that can deeply understand an individual, help match them to an opportunity they’ll thrive in and support them through the long journey of their career with support, development and connection. This goes beyond building a business, we believe that work is a feature of humanity, not a bug. That enabling individuals to find the right opportunities leads to better lives, better communities and a more prosperous world. If you’re excited by the idea of working on one of the world's largest problems, one that affects everyone, alongside an exceptional team of ex-founders, operators and investors, then get in touch. We’re fortunate to receive a huge number of applications for roles at Dex. The applications that stand out to us are the ones where the individual has applied extra effort, they've demonstrated some of their strengths / abilities as it relates to the role or the company. For some this has been a very thoughtful note, others have built a deck, some have even prototyped something they think would be cool to incorporate. These kinds of things are especially helpful if you're applying from a non traditional background / perhaps don't have a "shiny CV" As someone that went to a crap school and started out working in pubs / stacking tables and chairs, I know what that can feel like, if you're reading this and thinking "should I apply" the answer is yes, but make yourself undeniable. No one else will do it for you.
