This is an exciting new role, created to support the Club’s First Team Coaching Staff, Players and Senior Leaders whilst ensuring the efficient and professional coordination of all off-pitch activities relating to coaching, training schedules, communication and match day support. What will you be doing? Acting as the primary day-to-day point of contact for players & coaching staff for operational matters and responding to requests in a timely and professional manner, ensuring clear updates with strong follow-through are fundamental in this role. You will manage pitch requests with the Grounds and Operations teams, organise meeting rooms and session-related logistics to support daily player & coaching needs along with working closely with the First Team Logistics & Operations Manager to align first team coach requirements with team training schedules. You will manage daily and weekly schedules, including meetings and training commitments, communicate all schedule updates and changes quickly and accurately across relevant departments whilst coordinating with the Group Technical Director as required regarding diaries, planning, and meeting logistics. You will follow the first team schedule and attend all first team home and away fixtures, acting as the first team liaison before and during matches, ensuring smooth timings, meetings, and operational flow. You’ll be required to be onsite when the first team coaches and players are in and be in key areas around the Training Ground to ensure you are easily accessible. Responding to requests in a timely manner from key stakeholders, keeping them up to date on progress whilst having a can do, positive attitude is key, and you will be comfortable with taking and actioning ad hoc urgent requests out of hours. Other duties include: You will lead on the organisation and planning of First Team player performance activities and player appearances. Coordinate communication between coaches and departments such as Medical, Performance, Analysis, Player Care, and Operations. Collect and confirm travel requirements for coaching staff. Provide the First Team Logistics and Operations Manager with accurate information for bookings and itinerary creation. Provide admin support to coaching staff, including document preparation, scheduling, simple reporting, and operational forms. Book external meeting spaces or bespoke event locations as required to support football leadership and the coaching group. Is this you? Having strong organisational and communication skills are vital and you’ll be happy to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends to meet the needs of the role. Having previous similar experience within a football club or other elite sporting organisation would be highly desirable.
