All for the benefit of every patient. About the Role: You will help manage evaluations for GenAI Health Solutions, focusing on reference products for clinicians and students. In this role you will lead on product development support through routine surveillance, user feedback, and pre-market evaluation. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across Clinical Solutions and other Elsevier teams to achieve business goals, reporting to the Physician Lead of GenAI Evaluation. Responsibilities Develop evaluation sets for GenAI tools used in point-of-care, continuing, and graduate medical education. Work with AI systems and human reviewers to create evaluation sets tailored to product requirements. Ensure evaluation methods include diverse clinical specialties, query types, and interest groups. Lead and participate in evaluations of GenAI outputs with both clinical experts and automated systems. Support the creation and validation of automated evaluation methods with subject matter experts. Coordinate evaluation strategies with Operations, Product, and Marketing teams. Design and conduct scoping evaluations to identify product challenges. Manage clinical evaluators and incorporate structured feedback into assessments. Document evaluation results and share findings with stakeholders. Analyze evaluation data trends to guide future product development and improvements. Requirements: Licensed healthcare provider (such as physician, pharmacist, or physician assistant) in good standing, with a minimum of five years of direct clinical experience following training or certification. Experience in teaching, mentoring, or contributing to academic settings. Demonstrated involvement in evaluating GenAI or digital health products is preferred but not required. Experience in developing or implementing products within clinical workflows. Understanding of healthcare delivery processes and clinical environments. Experience collaborating with diverse teams in a global organization. Familiarity with clinical safety and relevant regulatory considerations for healthcare technology is an advantage. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines and with non-clinical team members. Ability to work effectively within a matrixed and cross-functional organizational structure. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information clearly to a range of audiences.
