We’re looking for a Category Buyer, who has a strong product sense, understands numbers, and knows how to build long-term supplier relationships. Someone who isn’t afraid to take ownership and push their category forward. WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: * Managing and developing your assigned Vilgain product category/product lines – including working on new products based on given requirements. * Overseeing the full process from initial brief all the way to product launch. * Sourcing and selecting suitable suppliers, manufacturers, ingredients and packaging; managing purchasing and supplier relationships. * Monitoring trends and identifying new opportunities. * Working closely with production, quality and procurement to ensure smooth manufacturing – tracking availability, quality, lead times and supplier capacity; collaborating with marketing to bring products to market.
