As a Receptionist with The Savoy you have the opportunity to provide a welcome experience like no other. Your personalised greeting, care in Guest room selection and knowledge of the hotel will ensure our Guests have a lasting memory of their visit.   You will be accountable for:Passionately and expertly creating a 5-star luxury guest experience, characterised by flawless efficiency and authentic emotional connectionTaking ownership of any guest request which comes your way seeing it through until completionYour key responsibilities & contribution will be:Reporting to the Front Office Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:  Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service Greet, check in and settle guest accounts while ensuring service standards are met                  Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way Administrative duties and assistance with the preparation of the Night Audit  Respond to each Guest who approaches Reception Drive rate through up-selling room brands Follow department policies, procedures and service standards Follow all safety policies   Other duties as assigned Paying keen attention to guest preferences and update profiles accordinglyWorking different shifts including night shifts QualificationsWhat you will need to do this role:Essential:Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Front Desk related role in a luxury hospitality environmentExcellent communication skills, both spoken and written with the ability to build rapport quickly and communicate well with people of all levelsEnthusiastic and positive personality with the ability to build trusting relationshipsAbility to multi task and problem solve in a fast paced environmentKeen eye for detailPrevious experience of guest complaint handling and going the extra mile to meet guest needsFlexibility to work different shifts including night shifts  Knowledge of OPERA PMS Please note that we believe in flexibility and multi-skilling, and you may be asked to do different tasks from time to time to enable us to meet the needs of our guests and colleagues.Additional InformationWhat’s in it for you?Competitive salary, pension,Accrued HolidayExclusive discounts:Savoy, Fairmont, Raffles, and Accor hotels (friends & family rates included)50% off at American & Beaufort Bars, Afternoon Tea, spa, florist, and select Gordon Ramsay restaurants20% off at other Gordon Ramsay restaurants and Restaurant 1890Colleague restaurant, interfaith prayer room, colleague gym and wellness roomLaundry services for all colleaguesLocal discounts for F&B and retail
