We are looking for candidates with an interest in performance analysis to join the Analysis team within the Coach Analyst Department at our state of the art training facility of Staplewood Campus, Marchwood. What will you be doing? You will assist the performance analysis process for our elite Category One Academy and support the team to deliver high quality footage to facilitate player development. Working with the most up to date technology and football analysis software you will contribute to the development of players through a video feedback process. You will be required to work on evenings and weekends covering matches at Staplewood Training Ground and on occasion, St. Mary’s Stadium. Successful candidates will be placed onto a database of casual staff that will be used on an ‘as required’ basis. Is this you? The successful candidates will possess an excellent level of football knowledge and experience of analysis. Excellent communication skills are required along with creative presentation skills. We are looking for candidates who take pride in their work and work well within a team environment. The competencies which are required include: Essential Experience: A good level of football knowledge and Analysis experience. A good understanding of the elite sporting environment. Experience of working with Mac OS Platform. Desirable Experience: Proficient using SportsCode, OPTA, Keynote, Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills. Experienced in filming and video editing processes. Essential Qualifications (including certifications): Related Sports Science degree or higher. Desirable Qualifications (including certifications): Coaching experience/qualifications. Essential Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (team, coach and player interaction). Good Team player -Desire to develop others within your team. Excellent time keeping, attention to detail. A strong work ethic and proactive attitude within the role. Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks. Quality Focus – takes responsibility for ensuring a high quality of work. Self-Motivated - Driven and able to work off own initiative as well as follow guidance and instruction. Self-Development – is receptive to feedback about own behaviour, strengths and areas for improvement.
