Are you ready to join the programmatic evolution? Index Exchange is looking for a Buyer Development Manager, Independent Agencies to help grow and deepen our commercial relationships across the independent agency ecosystem. This includes independent agencies, agency groups, specialist consultancies, and emerging buyer models shaping the future of programmatic investment. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of independent demand partners, driving revenue growth, increasing adoption of Index’s buyer products, and strengthening long-term partnerships. This position blends commercial relationship management with hands-on, consultative engagement and requires a strong working knowledge of programmatic buying, supply path optimisation, and marketplace dynamics. What we’re looking for: Strategic mindset: You bring thoughtful insights on market trends, supply path efficiency, and Index’s buyer solutions to support independent agencies in making informed investment decisions. You’ll help shape account-level strategy to drive adoption and long-term value. Collaborative approach: You work closely with Buyer Account Management, Partner Development, Product, and Publisher teams, acting as a key point of contact for your partners’ needs, performance, and growth opportunities. Strong communicator: You’re comfortable engaging with a range of stakeholders across independent agencies, from traders and programmatic leads through to senior investment and commercial decision-makers. Technical and consultative sales orientation: You use your programmatic expertise and understanding of Index’s marketplace and buyer product suite to recommend solutions aligned to your partners’ business goals.
