Job Description What is the opportunity? The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in Halifax is seeking an Associate Advisor to provide investment support to a high performing Advisory Team. You will provide quality client service and help deepen relationships with existing clients through ongoing, efficient support to both clients and the Advisor Team which consists of a Senior Portfolio Manager & Wealth Advisor, an Associate Investment Advisor, Client Experience Associate, Associate and Administrative Assistant. What will you do? Support the team in Client Services management Support clients with Insurance administration and support, IPP support, and wealth management support High Net Worth client planning support Meeting maintenance, management and follow up / follow through Point person for Trust & Estate planning Provide proactive client service with a focus on problem resolution and attention to details. Liaise with various departments for execution, where necessary What do you need to succeed? Must-have Industry experience of 5+ years Post Secondary Education with a business focus Successful completion of Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH) Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management and organizational skills Exceptional client service skills demonstrating professionalism, warmth and friendliness to clients Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English Strong interpersonal skills with experience dealing with clients in the financial sector Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills Thrives in an office environment Nice-to-have Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures WME, TEP, CFP and or CFA would be beneficial Strong background in financial planning and Tax and estate planning would be key Fluency in French What’s in it for you?
