  • Additional administrative nursing team includes a full-time Director of Nursing, a full-time Clinical Care Coordinator, a full-time MDS Coordinator and a part-time Infection Preventionist.

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead the CNA team to ensure that our residents are receiving the highest quality of care.
  • Responsible for directing and coordinating the day-to-day ADL’s and care of the residents in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.
  • Develop, coordinate and implement staff development, new employee orientation and continuing education in-services.
  • Responsible for performance evaluations, handling of grievances and disciplinary action for the CNA team.
  • Provide support and advocacy for residents, their families and staff.
  • Assist in family relations, addressing questions and concerns regarding their resident's health and nursing care.
  • Identify risk management needs and initiate root-cause analysis.
  • Interview, hire, orientate and schedule CNAs.
  • Serve on various committees as designated by the Director of Nursing Services or Administrator.
  • Assume responsibility of the nursing department in the absence of the Director of Nursing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or Administrator.

Minimum starting salary: $85,000

Requirements
  • Current RN License in Illinois
  • Compassion for the geriatric population

  • Excellent verbal, organizational and communication skills
