Summary The Assistant Director, Central Billing Office shall be responsible to assist the Director to oversee daily operations. The Assistant Director will monitor AR indicators to ensure AR focus is aligned with meeting the CBO financial performance goals. This individual will work with each of the CBO areas to review performance and provide support and recommendations to the Director and Managers to assist them to achieve the CBO's goals. Additionally, the Assistant Director will review policies and processes in each area and work with the CBO leadership to make processes more efficient and effective. As special projects within the CBO arise, the Assistant Director will assist to provide oversight to ensure that the project team is comprised of appropriate employees and that tasks are completed timely by each member. Education Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, or Healthcare administration required, Master’s degree preferred. In lieu of degree, must have 10+ years healthcare and revenue cycle experience. Revenue Cycle and hospital collections experience required. Previous management experience required. License/ Certifications None Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Personal organizational skills. Ability to successfully complete work within rigid time constraints with the ability to multi-task. Must be able to exercise independent thought and judgement. Possess strong analytical skills. Governmental payer regulatory billing requirements preferred.
