About the role We’re looking for an Account Executive to join our award-winning public affairs practice, where you’ll have the opportunity to work on flagship client accounts across the UK. You'll be working for some of the country’s most recognisable organisations (a full list of our clients can be found on the Public Affairs Board Register). Our client base covers a broad range of sectors, including energy, transport, technology, food and drink, telecoms and housing. As an Account Executive, you will have already gained some experience in UK politics and the core responsibilities will include client servicing, political monitoring, problem solving, researching and writing. The day to day The role of an Account Executive is varied, but daily tasks will involve: Monitoring parliamentary and government departments Providing daily and weekly intelligence reports for our clients Drafting political briefing notes and parliamentary correspondence Attending and contributing to client meetings Organising client events and parliamentary receptions Contributing to our departmental marketing strategy and set-piece Grayling events What will give you the edge A keen interest and understanding of UK politics is essential Some previous experience in UK politics Excellent written and verbal communication skills Confident networker Ability to juggle multiple and changing priorities Ability to assimilate information quickly and recommend a practical response Our promises to you Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid working, a work from anywhere policy, flexi time and 4pm Friday finishes 25 days’ holiday, increasing by one day every year up to 30 days Additional day of leave on your birthday & gifted time off over Christmas A monthly cash allowance to use on the benefits most important to you - you'll have the freedom to choose how you enjoy it!
