ZI373 - Urgent Maternity Nurse - London, UK

Overview Urgently seeking a wonderful Maternity Nurse who can start around 20th December, or just after. The parents are open to 24/7 for the first couple of weeks, moving thereafter to nights only, but would also consider just overnight help from the very start. The booking is likely to last at least 6 weeks, with the option for overnights to continue for up to 3 months if the candidate can offer that. Responsibilities Prioritising the safety and well-being of the baby at all times, providing attentitive and nuturing care Providing practical tools to enable the parents to keep baby on schedule during the day, thus setting baby up for success at night Maintaining a calm and supportive environment, ensuring Mum is well-rested, hydrated and healing well after the birth Baby's laundry, bottle/pump part cleaning and sanitizing, and cleaning of toys and other baby items Providing lactation support and guidance When appropriate, gently encouraging healthy sleep and feed schedules Requirements The parents are keen to find a calm, gentle and experienced maternity nurse who thrives in a collaborative environment and who is comfortable working alongside very engaged and hands-on parents. Candidates should be: Trustworthy, reliable, and effective communicators Warm, friendly and passionate about their role Team players- able to work with very involved parents Open, supportive, and used to a gentle, baby-led environment Ideally Hindi and/or Gujurati speaking (or at least familiar with the languages!)
