This position is primarily responsible for basic maintenance, support, and labour at the plant facility. Responsibilities Perform general labour throughout the plant Perform basic maintenance on plant equipment Assist plant manager with needed tasks and operations Dump ice and other materials into concrete mixtures Transportation of materials and product General housekeeping and yard work Attend meetings and wear PPE while on site, etc. Participate in Company Safety program and initiatives Other duties as assigned Qualifications Valid drivers license Clean drivers abstract General construction experience Basic mechanical ability to perform maintenance repairs Reliability and dependability CSTS Certification (Preferred) WHIMIS training (Preferred) Experience working with concrete (Preferred) Must be able to be clean shaven for work- a mask fit is required for employment What you can expect: An outdoor and indoor environment, working conditions will be subject to weather conditions Position is physical in nature and requires bending, crawling, crouching, and standing for long periods of time Materials are heavy and cumbersome, must be able to life 50 lbs on a regular basis Work schedule will vary with overtime required at times All applicants receiving an offer will be provided a conditional offer of employment based upon completion of drug and alcohol.
