Workshop Engineer - Hethel, Norfolk What you will do This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in mechanical engineering within the Fire Detection & Suppression industry. The role is mainly mechanical, but there is scope to learn aspects of electrical engineering. Full training in the role, as well as Health, Safety and Environment, will be provided. The role is 37.5 hours per week, with working hours 8:30am to 5:00pm, including a one-hour lunch break. Based at our Hethel, Norfolk workshop, the role is ideal for candidates within a 20-mile catchment area, including Norwich, Wymondham, Thetford, Diss and surrounding towns. How you will do it As a Workshop Engineer, you will: Build, test and commission pump systems from design drawings. Prefabricate client equipment prior to shipment. What we are looking for Mechanical engineering background and experience Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Knowledge of hydraulic principles Flexibility to work to deadlines and under pressure.
