Workday Manager --------------------------------------------------------------- This position is responsible for overall ownership for the ongoing design, deployment, and maintenance of the Workday HCM and Finance system. Primary duties include technical and operational planning and management, leading governance process, driving deployment of feature releases and system maintenance, cross-functional relationship building, and managing a team. This position provides input into strategic planning, provides team leadership and development, manages training objectives, and goal setting opportunities. Estimated Hiring Range: $138,150.00 - $168,850.00 Bonus Target: Bonus - SIP Target, 5% Annual Current CareOregon Employees: Please use the internal Workday site to submit an application for this job. --------------------------------------------------------------- Essential Responsibilities Technical Management Overall ownership for the ongoing design, deployment, and maintenance of the Workday platform, including HCM and Finance application. Serves as a strong consultative partner to business and functional leaders to continuously improve service delivery. Leads governance process, roadmap exercises, and cross-functional resource planning.  Drives the deployment of feature releases and system maintenance, ensuring client requirements are met. Evaluates feasibility of system modifications and enhancements. Leads the Workday support team, ensuring the balance of day-to-day systems support with strategic enhancements and projects. Overall accountability for data governance, security and compliance. Ensures up-to-date documentation of system functions, processes, and capabilities. Develops and promote continuous learning within the support team. Establishes and measure Key Performance Indicators. Establishes and ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements. E nsures compliance with internal auditing, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements. Manages vendor relationships, performance, and delivery Relationship Management Communicates effectively, encouraging and creating a collaborative culture inside of Finance and cross-functionally. Builds and ensures effective relationships across Finance teams and the organization for current or future integration. Partners with internal leaders and managers in identifying improvement plans and processes. Facilitates ongoing collaboration and prioritization with functional team leaders (Procurement, Accounting, Recruiting, etc.) to ensure effective prioritization of work and management of expectations. Employee Supervision Manages team and recommends team direction and goals in alignment with the organizational mission, vision, and values. Identifies work and staffing needs to meet work expectations; recruits and hires, using an equity, diversity, and inclusion lens. Plans, organizes, schedules, and monitors work; ensures employees have information and resources to meet job expectations. Leads the development, communication, and oversight of team and individual goals; ensures goals, expectations, and standards are clearly understood by staff. Trains, supervises, motivates, and coaches employees; provides support toward employee development. Incorporates guidance from CareOregon equity tools into people leadership, planning, operations, evaluation, and decision making. Ensures team adheres to department and organizational standards, policies, and procedures. Evaluates employee performance and provides regular feedback to support success; recognizes strong performance and addresses performance gaps and accountability (corrective action). Performs supervisory tasks in collaboration with People & Culture as needed. Organizational Responsibilities Perform work in alignment with the organization’s mission, vision and values. Experience and/or Education Required Minimum 5 years’ experience in application management and support Minimum 2 years’ Workday configuration or administration experience Preferred Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory position or minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory position with completion of CareOregon’s Aspiring Leaders Program Workday Pro certification in one or more areas Experience with Process Improvement and Change Management related to HR/Finance systems Advanced experience related to implementation and management of enterprise HR or Financials applications We offer a strong Total Rewards Program.
