Workday Consultant - Finance & Accounting

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Workday Finance & Accounting Consultant to support ongoing implementations, enhancements, and BAU activities within the Workday Finance ecosystem. The ideal candidate will bring strong functional expertise across core Workday Finance modules and hands-on experience working with Finance stakeholders in a large enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities • Lead configuration, enhancements, and support activities across Workday Finance & Accounting modules. • Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into Workday solutions. • Support month-end, year-end, and financial close processes within Workday. • Configure and optimise modules such as Financial Accounting, Banking & Settlements, Customers, Suppliers, and Budgets. • Contribute to system integrations involving Workday Finance and third-party systems. • Troubleshoot production issues and provide end-to-end functional support. • Support testing activities including test planning, test script creation, execution, and defect resolution. • Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to business and technical teams. Required Skills & Experience • Strong hands-on experience as a Workday Finance Consultant, ideally covering multiple F&A modules. • Proven experience working on configuration, support, or project implementations within Workday Finance. • Deep understanding of core Finance processes such as GL, AP, AR, Asset Management, Banking, and Financial Reporting. • Ability to analyse business needs and deliver high-quality Workday Finance solutions. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with Finance and Accounting teams. • Experience working in large, complex enterprise environments.
