Assisting with the repair and modification of plant and construction machinery. Helping to fabricate and fit custom parts and brackets as needed. Supporting workshop fitters and engineers with day-to-day workshop tasks. Learning to read and work from engineering drawings and specifications. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with health & safety procedures. Qualifications Around 1-3 years' experience in MIG welding and fabrication. Full UK driving licence and own transport (due to location). Experience A basic understanding of plant or heavy machinery is an advantage (but not essential). Good attention to detail and pride in your work. Willingness to learn and work as part of a team. Ability to follow instructions and take initiative when needed. For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
