Chew-On-This is a fast-growing, dynamic UK-based food and beverage Group with 6 restaurant brands spanning across UK and we are looking to expand our front of house team with an experienced Server/Bartender (FULL TIMERS ONLY) at Shan Shui Restaurant at Bicester Village, Oxfordshire. For this position, you must be a fast learner, have an energetic nature and be able to work confidently both behind the bar and serving positions. You must have prior experience in working in a fast-paced restaurant, be skilled in preparing and serving a wide range of cocktail drinks as well as other non-alcoholic beverages, and enjoy engaging with customers while serving. You should be someone who responds well under pressure and enjoy learning and sharing about Chinese food and culture. Responsibilities Preparing and serving high-quality drinks and occasionally be required to create unique cocktails Fulfilling drink orders accurately and promptly Maintaining a clean and organised bar area, including quickly responding to spills and other health and safety hazards Monitoring and replenishing bar stock levels as needed Providing knowledgeable and creative drink recommendations Clearing tables, wiping surfaces and ensuring ample glassware and drinking utensils are available Serving food, taking orders and processing payments Checking customers identification and age verification Interact with customers to ensure that they have a positive dining experience at the restaurant Taking cash or card payments from customers Qualifications Experience: Well-skilled in preparing a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages Prior knowledge of a range of cocktails and beverages is a plus Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is required Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Perks: 40-hour work week 2 days off a week Tronc system Staff food on shift Fantastic staff discounts (50% off when dining in our Group restaurants)
