VR -AR Software Developer - Coop - W25

This position will run from approximately September to December for approximately 35 hours per week. The wage of this position is $19.64 per hour. It is a hybrid work -location role working at the Conestoga College Waterloo Campus.<\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

• Design, development, and/or testing activities to support the creation an augmented/virtual reality platform that can be easily extended/modified to support a range of demo projects in support of ongoing Applied Research objectives at Conestoga College<\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Additional activities will include assisting in gathering requirements, agile software development and software quality testing for the project and research activities as required<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

  Requirements<\/h3>

  
  <\/span><\/span><\/ul>
  • Application software design, development and troubleshooting using Microsoft technologies (e.g. Visual Studio on Win10 64bit)<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Development experience in C++, C#, Unity3D<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Familiarity with audio and graphical asset management in Unity3D<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Track record of quickly adapting to new software technologies<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Good communications skills; Collaborative approach to work<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Familiarity with Agile software development and working to a weekly schedule with minimal supervision an asset.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Previous experience in the fields of education/training, healthcare or industrial manufacturing an asset<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>
