As part of the Kin Vet Community—a group of 19 veterinary practices across Essex, Suffolk, Hertfordshire, Kent, and Southwest London—we provide compassionate, high-quality care with a strong focus on collaboration and support for our clinical teams. Our Newmarket branch is a friendly, supportive environment, with a loyal client base, where the team enjoys working together and delivering excellent care for pets and their owners. We pride ourselves on high quality care and value contextualised medicine, guiding clients through their options to find the best approach for their pets rather than “one-size-fits-all” solutions. Facilities include: Three consultation rooms Two theatres In-house Idexx laboratory including ProCyte, CatalystOne, UA analyser and SediVue Digital X-ray New ultrasound machine Endoscopy Tonometer Off-site CT scanner Multiple certificate holders within the vet and nurse team, with excellent colleague support and collaboration both within and between teams We provide out-of-hours support for our clients, and those of several other local clinics via our hospital in Bury St Edmunds. Here we are equipped with a CT scanner and dental x-ray. About the Role We are looking for a small animal veterinarian to join our Newmarket team. You will have excellent people skills and enjoy building relationships with clients, patients and colleagues alike. You will be confident managing routine consultations, basic medical workups, and straightforward soft tissue surgery, with support available to help you develop your skills and pursue areas of particular interest. We welcome veterinarians of all experience levels who are looking for a supportive environment. While this is a full time role, we are always happy to discuss flexible working if desired. Some daytime weekend work at our Bury St Edmunds practice is part of the role, with time off in lieu provided afterwards. No overnight or sole charge work is required.
