We believe in greeting clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism, communicating effectively with clients and managing the diary so pets get appointments when they need to. About the role You will be greeting clients, maintaining patient and client data, scheduling appointments, taking payments, dispensing medications as directed by the veterinary surgeon, providing information to clients about the services we offer, taking payments and cashing up, ensuring the reception area is clean, organised, supporting the veterinary team with admin tasks. You must have the ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, be an excellent communicator, have a genuine love for animals and have empathy for their owners. You must have resilience with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations. Previous Veterinary or Reception experience is essential. Rota This is a full-time/part-time permanent role working up to 40 hours per week from 8:00am-6:30pm, and Saturday mornings on a rota working from 9:00am-1:30pm. The part time hours would be 31.25 [http://31.25] hours a week working three shifts 8:00am-6:30pm.
