The key purpose of this role is to perform optimisation /modifications of process control systems. Support the installations of process control systems. Maintain, calibrate, repair equipment, optimize brewing plant equipment and associated devices to ensure plant availability and product quality. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Maintain a safe and healthy working environment: Comply with safety, health and environmental procedures and legislation Maintain safety and housekeeping standard Maintain, calibrate, repair equipment and optimise plant and associated devices: Locate plant, equipment, spares and relevant documentation / systems Plan and prepare the job Carry out repairs / maintenance Continuously improve (optimise) plant, process equipment and systems Operate plant and process equipment Calibrate instruments Work in Teams: Communicate effectively in teams Contribute to self and team development Apply the VPO principles and practices: All work is carried out using the VPO principles Key Attributes and Competencies: Analytical ability and attention to detail Display initiative and ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization, within a team environment and with suppliers Motivated self starter with high energy levels Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Good interpersonal and communication skills Team player Minimum Requirements: Minimum of an N6 qualification and trade tested in Instrumentation Minimum of 3 - 6 months on the job training Minimum of 2 years post apprenticeship experience Extensive experience working in an MHI installation, min 2 years working on Boilers, Refrigeration, CO2, BTS Experience on PLCs and network infrastructure Electrical & Mechanical experience or knowledge would be advantageous Comprehensive E&F plant equipment and process knowledge CAT A or CAT B certified Flow reporting knowledge Additional Information: Band: A11 SAB/ABInBev is an equal opportunity employer, and all appointments will be made in line with SAB/ABInBev employment equity plan and talent requirements.
