Treasury Operations Accountant Based out of the Burlington Head Office and working closely with various stakeholders across the organization, the Treasury Operations Accountant is responsible for treasury governance, banking and accounting functions. Success in this role will require a self-starter, with a strong analytical and continuous improvement mindset. Prepares journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations related to all cash GL Accounts monthly. Responsible for uploading and matching daily cash and credit card transactions into Blackline. Acts as the liaison between Moneris and the company, ensuring successful operational activity across all branches. Responsible for daily cash related transactions and administrative functions for assigned banking portfolio. Conducts monthly and on demand analysis of activities related to FX, Bank Fees, Credit Card fees, identifying causes of fluctuations from trend. Supports other team members with their portfolios when required. Participates in projects related to Treasury process improvements, compliance and other initiatives as required. What you will bring: 2-5 years’ experience in accounting and/or Treasury. Degree/diploma in finance, accounting, or related field. Strong PC skills (MS Excel, Oracle, Smartview, Blackline). Team player comfortable working with all levels of the organization with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong organization skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Fluency in French is an asset.
