As Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that drive both new and existing business. Working with external agencies and cross-functional teams, you will build compelling projects across traditional and digital channels to strengthen brand visibility, engage existing customers, and attract new prospects. This role spans the full marketing mix — from customer engagement to lead generation to content and sales enablement — helping position WEX as a trusted, innovative partner in the payments and Travel payments. Plan and execute nurturing programmes, seasonal email campaigns and other direct marketing communication streams targeted at existing customers as a core component of the retention plan, using Marketing Cloud, SalesForce and other marketing tools. Support the development and execution of key industry events, roundtables, and hospitality events working in conjunction with the Senior Revenue Marketing manager, ensuring these activities drive engagement and align with business objectives and attract key customer segments. Tracking and reporting on campaign results and ROMI Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies in addition to the CoE in US to produce high quality and engaging marketing collaterals that inspires audience to engage with WEX brands across and messaging both on line and off line channels (landing pages, case studies, videos, whitepapers etc) Collaborate with colleagues across the marketing organisations to create engaging customer communications and retention programmes. Apply Account-Based Marketing principles to create segmented engagement strategies , designing content and undertake research into specific accounts to effectively touch and nurture existing and prospect customers by strategic group or clusters. Develop and maintain content and collateral for sales enablement including email templates, presentations, product facts sheets empowering Sales and Account management with the right tool to engage effectively. Experience You’ll Bring • Proven experience in marketing, ideally within a B2B, fintech, or payments environment. • Strong editorial and content background, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, compelling narratives. • Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with mastery of English and proficiency in additional languages (French, German, or Italian desirable). • Experience creating and localizing content across multiple European markets, with an understanding of cultural and regulatory nuances. • Skilled in managing cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external agencies. • Knowledge of AI tools and applications for content generation, personalization, and campaign optimization. • Experienced in delivering social and digital campaigns, including the use of Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Google Workspace, and Adobe Creative Cloud. • Strong grasp of current digital, content, and social media trends. • Exceptional project management skills, capable of managing multiple initiatives and deadlines simultaneously. • Creative and proactive thinker who brings new ideas, energy, and innovation to the team. • Flexible and collaborative team player who remains calm and solutions-oriented in fast-paced environments. • Culturally aware and comfortable working across geographically diverse teams.
