The Transport Supervisor coordinates directly with the NAT-SU health clinic, case managers, intake coordinators, and Tribal members to schedule appointment transportation. The Transport Supervisor must always have a company phone on them 24/7 and answer all calls, texts, or respond in a timely manner.  

Job Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities: 

  • Schedules all transport and driver shifts daily.  
  • Coordinates with all respective teams and can manage a schedule so there is no “overload” at specific times.  
  • Coordinates with Tribal Members to ensure their transportation needs are met.  
  • Oversees vehicle maintenance and schedules all repairs/maintenance.  
  • Tracks vehicle use, approves and denies transport requests, and updates management on tasks. 
  • Other duties and responsibilities as needed.

Education and Experience: 

  • Management experience (2 years preferred)  
  • Proficient in computer and technology skills – able to create, maintain, and update a working, live calendar.  
  • Driving experience (5 years preferred)  
  • Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) minor infractions negotiable  
  • Effective communication

  • Delegation: Able to train then trust staff to carry out their duties; avoid micromanaging 
  • Effective communication skills: Able to coordinate with other teams and with the transporters.  
  • Problem solving: Ability to order and prioritize tasks in a constantly changing work environment as need arises. 
  • Proficient in Outlook calendar 
  • Managing and team building  

Work Hours: Monday through Friday, Full-Time. Must be available by phone 24/7 and be ready to coordinate transport as the need arises.   

Salary Range: $60,000 Annually 

This position is subject to Native American/Alaskan Native preference. Indian Preference applies in accordance with P.L. and other applicable laws. Applicants claiming Indian Preference must submit documentation of enrollment in a federally recognized tribe.
