Job Responsibilities Develops, implements and administers cost-effective benefits programs such as pension plans and life, health, and disability insurance | May also administer the organization's Employee Assistance Program. | May also be required to be a subject matter expertise in the area of Disability Management and Attendance Support to ensure timely and effective case management. Assist our Plan Members with day-to-day medical and dental claims and health benefit-related questions (30% very easy to complex / research-oriented) Audit retirement plan eligibility and participant data such as employee and employer contributions; resolve discrepancies within system and with record-keeper (20% - complex) Benefit plan administration (15% - medium difficulty) Special projects as needed such as file feed enhancements, managing/auditing data, testing (10%) Performs other duties as they might be assigned (10%) Work with broader HR team, auditors, finance team, legal, and actuaries on various retirement items (10%) Process life insurance claims (<5%) Job Requirements Post secondary in Business, Human Resources or related field A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with employee benefits Advanced MS Office skills (e.g., proficiency in Excel to include using pivot tables, v-look ups and the mail merge feature in Word) Strong written and verbal communication skills Detailed and customer-service oriented Our total compensation package includes amazing benefits!
