Based on the directions set by the Product Development Laboratory Manager(s) manages, improves, and participates in the development of laboratory equipment, prepares, plans, and conducts tests (qualification/characterization of prototypes), synthesizes, and analyzes raw data. Grow with us - your responsibilities : In compliance with quality rules and procedures, notably ISO and GMP/GDP: Laboratory Management Manage the laboratory regarding maintenance and upkeep of equipment under their responsibility and coordinate with equipment suppliers. Define and apply safety measures specific to laboratories. Test Preparation Implement the purchasing process for complex equipment. Deepen and develop knowledge related to equipment (adapting/improving existing methods, possible collaboration with PD teams – Validation & Modelling, Scientists, etc.). Propose/modify tests and apply established test protocols, formalize test requests, and request prototyping/3D printing. Test Execution Carry out necessary tests for the project(s) or as requested by the laboratory manager. Be autonomous on complex equipment/tests (combinations of measured variables, or complex variables: mechanical, thermal, cryo, etc.). Master Good Documentation Practices and traceability requirements for tests/equipment/laboratory activities. Enter, synthesize, and analyze complex data (statistical software), format raw data, and draw conclusions (detect outliers, stop tests outside protocol). Draft necessary documentation for the project/test: test instructions/protocols and write test reports with/without templates, qualification reports, application notes, etc. Technical Support Provide support to international PD teams attached to our service (training on instructions, duplication of tests/methods/tools/equipment) and teams outside the service (training on instructions, conducting tests for external requesters – Marketing, Operations, Quality, etc.): consider external constraints (scheduling, availability, priority, team size). What will convince us : BAC+2/+3 in analytical chemistry, chemistry, physics, or metrology, etc. Good command of technical English (for reading and writing reports) and B2 level oral comprehension and expression (easy communication and argumentation on general, concrete, or abstract topics). Mastery of ISO 9001, GMP, GDP, and GLP standards and procedures. Good command of specific laboratory equipment. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
