Reporting to Operations, this role plays a key part in the smooth running of the production line. The equipment used will vary from box erectors to vertical form fillers and multihead weighers. Role will include: Basic proactive maintenance of equipmentCarry out minor repairs on machineryOperate machinery as part of the production teamComplete daily safety start up checksRespond to first instance blockages and stoppagesRegular cleaning of equipmentLiaise with the Engineering department on matters associated with the equipmentSupport the production team on clear down days to clean the picking loops and/or repack areaWho You are This is a physical role moving around a large factory, lifting up to 20kgPrevious experience gained within a similar roleMechanically minded with working knowledge of diverse high-speed machineryExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent organisational skills.A confident and forward thinking team player.Excellent attention to detail, flexibility and problem solving.
