In the Product Development group (R&D) of the Fluid Management Technology business area, the Technical Lead Automation Engineer will be responsible for leading new product development and life cycle management of complex automation systems. Grow with us - Your Responsibilities: Is responsible of the Product Development deliverables at System level in development project and in life cycle management Leads the design, development, and implementation of the product/system (hardware and software), by ensuring its performance, security and reliability Developpe a software automation prototype to validate the concept (programming PLC and HMI) Creates the sub-system Architecture, command and control (PLC programming), sensors systems according to URS/FS requirements Collaborates with the Project manager, the Product Manager and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Coordinates activities of the product development team (engineering and testing) Participates in project planning, resource allocation, and budgeting for product development scope Troubleshoots technical issues, performs root cause analysis, and implements effective solutions in a timely manner. Leads Ideation and Proof Of Concept processes to support Marketing/PM innovation Develops a process and application expertise linked to the Product family Ensures Technology screening & IP, Benchmarking and competition analysis to drive continuous improvement and innovation What will convince us: Automation Engineer Degree or Master's degree specializing in automation or industrial computing. Proven experience in designing, developing and implementing complex automation systems (including hardware, electronics and software) and in life cycle management of product family Good knowledge of special machines from the study (functional analysis) to commissioning not mandatory Good knowledge of SCADA software and PLC (WinCC, TIA Portal) and/or Allen Bradley (RS Logix 5000, Factory Talk ME/SE), Experience with industrial communication protocols ( Profinet, Ethernet/IP, ModBus, OPC-UA…) Good knowledge of VFD integration ( SINAMICS Startdrive, Starter…) Knowledge of ISO 9001, GMP, GAMP, 21 CFR part11, data integrity MySQL databases, not mandatory Good knowledge of IEC 61131, ISA-88 and ISA-95 Standards Understanding of electrical and P&ID standards Knowledge of product system development V-model, FS, SDS… Good understanding of metrology (sensors, measurement chains, calibrations) Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
