For this position, ZOLL Medical UK is looking for a qualified candidate to provide clinical & technical support for the LifeVest Wearable Cardioverter Defibrillator (WCD) UK team. The LifeVest is prescribed to patients who have a known risk of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA), and protects these patients until a long term treatment option has been identified. The LifeVest is lightweight and easy to wear, allowing patients to return to their activities of daily living, while having the peace of mind that they are protected from SCA. The LifeVest continuously monitors the patient’s heart and, if a life-threatening heart rhythm is detected, the device delivers a treatment shock to restore normal heart rhythm without any bystander intervention. ZOLL Medical UK is looking for a qualified candidate to provide clinical & technical support for patients to be fitted and wearing the LifeVest. Job Description and Areas of responsibility After an intensive 6 months TechSupport training program your main tasks will include: Coordinating and conducting patient LifeVest fitting within requesting Hospital across UK. Travel may be required to the Republic of Ireland. To lead on technical elements and questions for patients and physicians regarding LV questions (24/7) and provide individual solutions by phone. Analysis of ECG and further technical data and take appropriate action including documentation according to ZOLL guidelines. Network Management (Input of patient data and information in online portal, registration of new accounts and managing login, creation of clinical center codes for individual prescriber, sending ECG reports to physicians upon request, de-activate patient after LV treatment) To engage in customer facing training and first line education alongside TDM. To attend UK congresses and UK Cardiology meetings where relevant. To support the Therapy Development team in growing awareness of LifeVest through effective presentation and customer engagement on a national level. Support in projects & process alongside Customer Service team to facilitate continued effective logistical and clinical service provision when required. Responsibility for UK inventory and stock management.
