Who is New England Seafood International? New England Seafood International (NESI) was established in 1991 and is an importer and processor of premium fresh and frozen sustainable fish and seafood. NESI employs circa 850 people across three sites in the UK and imports a wide range of wild and farmed fish and shellfish from all around the world. We are part of the Sealaska Corporation, an Alaska Native corporation formed in 1971 and which is owned by 26,000 Tlingit, Haida and Tsimshian shareholders, who are all bloodline descendants of the first settlers to the Americas. Accountabilities Investigations and Root Cause Analysis: Administrative duties for all KPI incident and CAD reporting i.e., trend analysis, board slide, T4 presentation, customer etc. Training: Complete gap analysis on Technical training requirements. Build technical training risk assessment External visits / contact: Ensure good preparation for successful technical visits (Forms completed, rooms bookings., hospitality set up, PPE preparation etc.) Support the Technical Team with meetings, administration, hospitality arrangements for Retail and Certifications Risk Assessments: Ensure schedules i.e., environmental swabbing and testing, calibration, raw material testing (fish, packaging and ingredients) are carried out as per stated frequency. Implement corrective actions, as required. Internal audits: Following successful approval of risk assessment build, implement and manage all schedules associated with food safety, legality and quality Complaints: Log all complaints coming through on a weekly basis. Update the trend analysis and share information to Compliance Coordinator Customers’ Code of Practices: Management of the Customer COP's Customer library, ensuring it is always up to date with the most recent COP version. Update the spreadsheet to demonstrate document control. Traceability: Ownership of traceability schedule. Arranging collection and transfer of Chessington documents to Grimsby. Updating the traceability spreadsheet for location and issuing Customers: Prepare customer KPI reports. Prepare data into customer presentations (Responsible for ensuring data is correct). Ensure Site Technical KPI's are always available and visual. Annual Verifications: Preparing for the annual verification - ordering kits, communication with the laboratory. Budget: Raising of PO's and logging of spend to ensure no overspend. Food Safety Culture: Right first-time data ensuring all bodies have the true picture Compliance Management System: Shadow Compliance Coordinator to understand how this system works with the view that they will take over the maintenance process of QMS and CMS Taste Panel: Store visits and buy backs. Manages taste panels, results and feedback including monthly store buy backs. Completes and/or supports benchmarking sessions. Completing of relevant documentation for customer or internal. Conduct taste panels and end of life sampling capturing and trending the results. Attend regular taste panels and provide information to support any issues highlighted through this process Administration: Technical Standing orders Artwork & Specs: Compliance Coordinator deputy Ad-Hoc Projects: Support project work and fill knowledge or process gaps as identified by Compliance Manager or Technical Manager. What experiences, knowledge and capabilities do I need to demonstrate? •Experience within a FMCG environment •Degree level qualification in Science /Technology (or equivalent relevant experience) •Working knowledge of Technical systems •Sound organizational and presentation skills •Ability to work to tight deadlines •Ability to work cross functionally over the organization •Ability to analyze data and support in the formulation of action plans •Ability to work as part of a larger multi-site Technical team •Ability to deconstruct and translate Technical information allowing it to be implemented and understood across the group at various levels. •Competency in Microsoft 365: Excel, Power Point, Word, Power BI, SharePoint…
