About the job We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Lead to manage a small but impactful Quality team overseeing Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) and subcontractors. This role is critical in ensuring GMP compliance, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a strong Quality culture across operations. Ensures that an appropriate Quality oversight of Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) and sub-contractors in scope of responsibility, including appropriate Quality agreements and audits, is in place Guarantees compliance with GMP and other guidelines as well as corporate requirements for all regulated activities Delivers against key Quality KPIs/metrics and drives results that ensure site compliance on a consistent and continuous basis Ensures identification, assessment, control and communication of risks involving components, raw materials, finished pharmaceuticals, within scope of responsibility Ensures the deviation and change control activities are consistently and timely managed Ensures implementation and evaluation of corrective and preventive actions to address systemic issues Ensures the accurate, timely, and GMP compliant management of technical product complaints from the global market manufactured under responsibility of EM CHC Europe Support definition and implementation of self-evaluation and continuous improvement tools Provides leadership on Quality improvement initiatives across all operational functions Manages the quality teams with multi-national members under his/her responsibility with respect to all applicable rules Provides leadership and guidance on the development of employees within his/her functional areas of responsibility Participates and provides recommendations on succession planning activities for staff within his/her organizational responsibilities Supports design of a budget for the Quality organization and the allocation of quality and quantity of personnel to designated functions and responsibilities Provides technical support and guidance to senior management on strategic topics where his/her knowledge, experience, and skills are critical to decisions of strategic impact on products, processes and systems About you: At least 5 years of work experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control and/or Production Management experience and leadership skills (team composition, team building, change management and developing skills) Good English language skills to effectively negotiate and communicate verbally and in writing Scientific studies in pharmacy or sciences, Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences preferred Pro-active and strategic approach and thinking regarding the implementation of innovative approaches to Quality management and Quality systems Commit to customers Cooperate transversally #LI-HYBRID Opella is the self-care challenger with the purest and third-largest portfolio in the Over-The-Counter (OTC) & Vitamins, Minerals & Supplements (VMS) market globally.
