We are searching for an experienced Talent Development for MBA Students and Corporate Relations Manager at our Jouy-en-Josas facility. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: The HEC Talents Department (Career Center) at HEC Paris is looking for an experienced Talent Development & Corporate Relations Manager to support our MBA students in achieving their career aspirations. The position is a combination of student counselling/coaching and corporate relations with companies based in France and abroad. The role involves one-on-one career coaching, facilitating workshops on recruitment skills and industry trends, and strengthening employer relationships to enhance career opportunities for students. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to continuously improving our career curriculum based on student needs and market trends. Key Responsibilities: Career Coaching & Student Engagement: Conduct one-on-one career counselling sessions with MBA students to help them define career goals, improve job search strategies, and refine their professional brand. Lead workshops and training sessions on topics such as CV writing, cover letters, networking strategies, interview preparation, and other career development topics. Provide sector-specific guidance, leveraging industry knowledge and alumni networks to offer insights into various career paths. Employer Engagement & Market Insights: Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners, recruiters, and alumni to create internship and full-time job opportunities for MBA students. Stay updated on market trends, recruitment practices, and employer expectations to ensure our career services align with industry needs. Collaborate with employers to design and deliver industry panels, networking events, and on-campus recruitment activities. Work closely with faculty, alumni relations, and career services leadership to strengthen employer engagement strategies. Continuous Improvement & Program Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of the career services curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant and responsive to market demands. Gather feedback from students and employers to improve career services offerings. Participate in team meetings and strategic planning initiatives to drive innovation within the career development program. Required Qualifications: A minimum of seven years’ work experience, ideally gained within the areas of recruitment, HR, headhunting, sales & marketing or consulting. Professional working experience in more than one country or significant exposure to international business environments essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; empathy with the challenges faced by students through the process. Excellent public speaking and presentation capability training contexts and in business development Proven ability to lead, collaborate and influence at multiple levels. Strong organizational skills with a focus on delivering results, and accountability for goals. Experience of working in, or knowledge of, higher education is desirable but not essential. Experience of working in an MBA career management environment is a plus. Self-motivated and outgoing personality; analytical and creative. Fluency in English essential; knowledge of French and another language is a plus. Excellent academic qualifications, Masters or MBA preferred but not essential. Experience in job search process preferred and eventual expertise in career management tools (self-assessment, scorecards, etc.) Why Join Us?
